CAMP MANAGEMENT MANAGER (M/F)

Job Description

Context and Mission

As part of strengthening its existing team, our client, a mining company, is recruiting a  Camp Management Manager (M/F) . This newly created position is based in a demanding field environment, involving the simultaneous management of several camps and the logistical coordination of activities in remote areas.

Main Responsibilities

Logistics and Fleet Management
  • Manage the vehicle fleet (monitoring, allocation, maintenance);
  • Track vehicle and machine rentals (LV, Bulldozer, Trucks);
  • Organize local travel to sites and plan staff travel;
  • Ensure the management, supply and monitoring of fuel consumption;
  • Ensure rigorous monitoring of PPE and mechanical parts stocks;
  • Perform periodic and unannounced stock inventories (PPE, mechanical parts, fuel).
Accommodation and Equipment Maintenance
  • Plan and manage room allocation for staff and visitors;
  • Supervise the general upkeep of the camps (coordination of repairs, cleaning and maintenance);
  • Ensure the control and supervision of maintenance and installations, particularly those carried out by service providers on the sites
Catering and Supply
  • Manage food orders and supplies;
  • Ensure the control of billing data from service providers;
  • Ensure rigorous monitoring of food stocks (inventories, expiry dates, restocking);
  • Place various orders related to the proper functioning of the camps.
  • Administration, Finance and Human Resources
  • Manage the petty cash in the event of the Accounting Assistant’s unavailability;
  • Update and accurately complete the tracking files (Fuel Tracking, Vehicle Tracking, Maintenance Tracking, etc.);
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly activity reports for the different sites;
  • Develop an on-site incident tracking report with KPIs;
  • Ensure the reliability of the information transmitted during reporting periods.

Profile

Formation :
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent field;
Experience :
  • Prior experience in camp management, logistics, or site administration;
Technical skills:
  • Proficiency in basic computer tools (Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting,
  • Good knowledge of inventory management and fleet management.
  • Knowledge of BI is a significant advantage;

Mobility:
  • Driver’s license (optional),
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly between different sites

  • Contract type: Fixed-term/Permanent
  • Department: Logistics / Operations
  • Areas of operation: Based in Yamoussoukro with travel to various construction sites
  • Close collaboration with the current management team to ensure rotation and full coverage of the three sites;
