BUSINESS DEVELOPPER (M/F)

AEP is looking for a Business Developer (M/F) for one of its clients who will manage the business development of a solution within the country and the associated service in accordance with the agreed business objectives. He/She will oversee customer success activities related to the solution while managing the local team.

General Mission

This role would involve:

  • Development and implementation of business strategies
  • Identification of new business opportunities
  • Customer relationship management and provision of technical support to customers (installation, remote support, project monitoring)
  •  Understanding the specific needs of quarry and construction operations
  • Adapting services and solutions to meet requirements
  • Collaboration with the product development team to ensure that products meet the requirements of territorial customers and address industry-specific challenges

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Be primarily responsible for setting, adhering to and executing the regional budget in accordance with the agreed budget plan
  • Manage sales forecasts, sales opportunities, and grow the sales pipeline
  • Provide regular reports on the opportunity pipeline to the HQ-level Sales and Service team
  • Develop new sales channels, either outside the company’s customer portfolio or via a new product range
  • Manage the relationship with solution partners (Komatsu IMC, SmartConstruction, TopCon, Steer, SQS, Volve, AVA, MMS)
  • Promote and encourage the adoption of solutions by the company’s team and customers
  • Provide and coordinate pre- and post-sales support
  • Ensure facility satisfaction and represent the company in all customer activities
  • Setting up the right tools and processes to manage installation, remote support, warranties, etc. company-related products
  • Work closely with the team to provide solutions that are best suited to the needs of end-users
  • Define, organize, and oversee necessary customer success activities: joyful visits and trainings
  • Identify and correct gaps in end-user buy-in with the team to always ensure customer satisfaction
  • Attend events, meetings and training
  • Maintain knowledge about solutions/products/services/pricing, both personally and collectively

Ensure that all company activities, behaviors, and actions are executed in accordance with company policies

Profil

Training and qualification

  • Mechanical engineer or equivalent by experience
  • Customer relationship management
  • Project and team management skills

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of management in an equivalent position
  • Demonstrate a strong business mindset with a natural ability to engage customers and follow up effectively with customers
  • Demonstrated expertise in customer service with more than 3 years of experience
  • 3 years of effective team and project experience
