Job Description
The geologist will report directly to the General Management and will work in collaboration with the geological, technical and administrative teams.
Main objectives of the position
- Identify and develop economically viable mineral targets
- To ensure the technical activities of the company, including the submission and monitoring of administrative files.
- Contribute to the enhancement and development of mining permits.
Duties and responsibilities
- Identify and develop economically viable mineral targets in which the company could invest (PR/PE permits).
- Structuring, planning and supervising exploration programs.
- To ensure regulatory and technical compliance of mining activities.
- Deploy and supervise teams for exploration campaigns, including detailed mapping, geochemistry and geophysics.
- Ensure that all applications are formally submitted in accordance with the mining code.
- Initiate and/or supervise drilling programs, interpret results and write technical reports.
- Ensure the monitoring and proper maintenance of administrative files.

Qualifications and experience, skills:
Education / Training Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (3 years of higher education) to Master’s degree (5 years of higher education) in mining geology, exploration, mining code or project management.
Experience required
- 2 to 3 years of experience, having worked on gold projects in Africa.
Knowledge, skills and competencies required
- Natural leadership and ability to manage teams.

- Strong autonomy and a sense of initiative.
- Excellent professional network in the mining sector.
- High ability to adapt to a dynamic and demanding environment.
Language requirements
- Professional English preferred.
