GOLD ROOM SPECIALIST SHIFT SUPERVISOR

•    Maintain and keep confidential all refinery information, including schedules, activities, equipment layout, building layout, gold information and passwords
  
•   Compliance to Confidentiality policy and related Standard Operating Procedures
  
•  Take part in the Production of gold bullion of highest possible purity and to take part in the bullion boxing proces
  
•  To take part in the gold shipment process whenever require to so
  
•   To operate the ILR Gekko to transfer Optimum Eluate to the Gold room and account reconcile batches
  
•   To maintain housekeeping in the gold room and ILR building and Electro winning section.
  
•    Train current staff improving efficiency and quality of works required
  
•       To make sure that all equipment is cleaned and maintained well on daily basis
  
•    Assist when required with elution circuit to ensure optimum operation
  
•    To ensure accuracy in equipment operation, including the electro winning cells, filters, smelting furnaces, calcining oven and weighing balances through regular maintenance and calibration
  
•  Ensure calibration and services are performed with high priority as per schedule
  
•     Ensure all refinery reagents and consumables are arranged and stored properly with their respective labels as required
  
• Ensure safe work practices, i.e. attending compulsory safety courses and meetings, use of required PPE, incident/accident reporting and ensuring total adherence to all Safety, Occupational Health and Environmental Policies, as well as other relevant policies, procedures and guidelines
  

•  Maintenance and operational engineering background knowledge of  Bullion production that includes smelting/EW and Gekko ILR operation
  
• Must be able to use CMMS for Normal warehouse reagents and parts request
  
•   Ability to analyse information and write reports using MS Office
  
• ​ Ability to budget and forecast material and parts usage
  

Profil

• Strong Process background on Smelting/EW and gecko operation
  
• Maintenance background would be an added advantage
  
• Must have experience in Smelting Furnace refractory repairs to an excellent standard
  
• Gekko Certification in operation for ILR and Electrowinning
  

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Bullion production
  
• Security Clearance required
