SITE ENGINEER (M/F)

• Provide technical expertise and advice to optimize the design and execution of the Doropo project.
  
• Review, analyze and validate engineering plans, engineering plans and execution documents.
  
• Plan, organize, and monitor construction activities in accordance with deadlines, quality standards, and project requirements.
  
• Oversee the day-to-day operation of on-site construction work.
  

• Carry out regular inspections of the site to ensure compliance with technical standards, quality requirements and Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) standards.
  
• Identify, assess risks related to construction activities and implement appropriate preventive measures.
  
• Ensure compliance with construction procedures, safety standards and internal company policies.

Stakeholder Coordination 

• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.
• Negotiate with suppliers and contractors to obtain optimal technical and economic solutions.
• Coordinate the interventions of the various trades to ensure a smooth execution of the work.
  

Resource management and reporting 

• Ensure the efficient and optimal use of materials, equipment and human resources.
• Keep accurate records of work progress, technical changes and constraints encountered.
• Produce regular reports on the progress of the site for the attention of the hierarchy.

Coaching and Leadership

• Supervise, mentor and instruct on-site construction teams.
• Foster a high-performing, disciplined and results-oriented work environment.
• Develop the technical skills of the teams through local supervision.

Profil

Qualifications & Experience, Skills: 

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, Industrial Engineering or any other related field.
  
• Professional certifications in project management, construction
  

Experiences:

• Proven experience in managing and supervising construction projects, ideally in the mining sector.
  
• Previous experience on remote mine sites is a major asset.
  
• Experience in planning, site monitoring and coordination of subcontractors.
